2024 Spring Budget – Highlights

In the 2024 Spring Budget on 6 March, the Chancellor announced a series of measures, reforms and tax changes, including a couple of tax cuts.

Key announcements included a reduction in National Insurance rates for employees and the self-employed, a cut in the higher rate of Capital Gains Tax on residential property disposals, the abolition of the Furnished Holiday Lettings regime, and a reform of Non-domicile taxation. The VAT registration threshold will also rise.
