The Budget 2025

On 26 November 2025, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves set out tax-raising measures worth up to £26 billion in the Budget. 

Some key measures that were outlined included:

  • The freeze on income-tax thresholds has been extended for a further three years.

  • Tax rates on dividends will rise from April 2026.

  • Taxes on rental and savings income will increase from April 2027.
